To shop with us, you may checkout as a guest or go through our registration process. On registration, you will be asked to choose a password. It is entirely your responsibility to keep this password confidential. Any activities that occur under your user ID and password are entirely your responsibility. By shopping or browsing on this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this agreement, and the other policies displayed on this site.

If Win-A-Lot believes that you are providing untrue, inaccurate or incomplete information, we may choose to suspend or terminate your account. Win-A-Lot will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from the failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password.

Stock Availability

Items on special at Win-A-Lot are limited. Win-A-Lot shall take all reasonable efforts to ensure that when a particular item is no longer available, that offers thereof are discontinued. However, should items still be offered after stocks are sold out and Win-A-Lot is unable to fulfil the orders placed at advertised prices, Win-A-Lot shall only be liable to refund the amount paid by you for such product.

Errors

Win-A-Lot shall take reasonable efforts to accurately indicate prices. However, should products be offered at incorrect prices, Win-A-Lot will not be obliged to sell products at such incorrect prices and shall only be liable to refund monies paid should you not wish to proceed with the purchase at the correct price.

Payment

You can pay with either Mastercard or Visa credit cards, Mobicred (depending on Mobicred approval) or EFT. All prices include VAT. When paying via internet transfer into our bank account, please use your order number as a reference. We are more than happy to receive proof of payment, however we still cannot process any order until the payment has cleared our bank account. All other forms of payment, I-Pay and Payfast usually clear immediately (provided there are no unforeseen issues on the payment gateway side).

We will not be held liable for any cash given to our drivers as payment. We do not accept COD (cash on delivery). Orders will only be processed and dispatched once the payment reflects in our account.

Placing Orders:

If you are unsure of what delivery option to select, contact us first for confirmation, do not just pick any delivery option, as this can result in your order not being processed, until full and correct payment received. If you are located in a rural/outlying areas, please contact us before placing an order, to confirm whether we deliver to that location.

Processing of orders may take up to 3 business days after full payment has been received depending on stock availability. Once items are dispatched, it can take usually between 3-10 business days for delivery depending on your location.

Deliveries:

Delivery charge is calculated on checkout, but please contact us to confirm the delivery charge should you feel uncertain. Deliveries will only be made to the delivery address selected on checkout. If you are unable to be present at the delivery of the parcel please ensure that a 3rd party is made available to accept the delivery.  Please forward the 3rd party details to the sales rep handling your order, which will include the name and ID number, along with contact details. Ensure that this person has Identification and a letter signed by the purchaser giving the necessary authority for the 3rd party to collect on behalf of the purchaser. Delivery could range from 3-10 working days from date of payment received, depending on stock.

We have no control over the courier companies and their service, therefore we cannot be held liable for inconvenience or delays caused by the couriers. If a courier makes multiple attempts to deliver, without success, you may be charged a fee. Kindly note that we are not held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage during shipping.

NB: Signing the POD (proof of delivery) from the courier serves to confirm that the parcel was received in good order.

Dispatching of parcels are done from Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays. Couriers deliver Monday to Friday, but not on weekends or public holidays. Please provide a physical address not a P.O Box Address. Choosing courier delivery and providing a P.O Box address will automatically put your order on hold until a physical address is supplied. If delivery is made into a reserve or estate, or any area consisting of entry fees, a surcharge will be added to the order, or prior arrangement are to be made for you to collect your order at the entrance of the reserve/estate. Once tracking number is provided, the onus is on the buyer to track their order.

Collections:

Processing of orders usually takes between 3-10 business days after full payment is received, providing there is stock. Win-A-Lot will notify you once your order is ready for collection. Stock is not always kept in the warehouse, so no collections will be allowed prior to you being notified of collection date by a sales representative.

Collections can be arranged in person or through your own courier. Warehouse collection times are Mon-Friday only from 9am – 3pm. Win-A-Lot must be notified of all courier collections by email and include the following details: Courier Company, Win-A-Lot order/quote number, Customer Name.

Warranties:

Guarantee/Warranty will be null and void if you break, damage or misuse any product, or if the product is not installed by a registered, certified installer (that can be traceable and contacted if need be).

Returns:

We offer a 7-day money back satisfaction guarantee. The goods must be returned to us in the condition they were dispatched, complete with all packaging, manuals (where applicable), guarantee, gift boxes or additional items from bundle deals.

You must contact us within 7 days regarding any fault or damage of an item, from the date the item was received. Items used for longer than the 7 day grace period, is considered as soiled, and we will not process a refund or replacement. Items will be assessed once the goods have arrived back in our possession, before a decision is made on whether a refund, replacement or repair will be given. If the items are returned in bad condition, with damaged boxes, missing any attachments, or missing items part of a bundle deal, then the charges for the items or damage may be deducted from your refund.

No refund will be given on shipping costs or admin fees. Buyer may be charged a handling fee on returned goods at a rate of 3.5%.  All returns must be accompanied with a copy of your invoice and a reason for the return. The items remain your responsibility until they are received and signed for by a Win-A-Lot agent or representative. The cost of transportation incurred in returning the item or items to the Win-A-Lot offices is borne by the customer. If an unwanted product is returned for exchange for a different product the customer will be charged or refunded any price difference, plus charged delivery charges. Only initial purchase is free of handling charge.

NB: Refunds can take up to 15 business days to process.

Cancellations

If for any reason you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. Should you cancel your order after your item has been dispatched, the delivery charge will not be refunded. You will also be liable for the transport cost to return the item.

Liability

Although we will offer you the best service we possibly can, we make no promise that our online shopping services will entirely meet your requirements, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error free.

Competition Terms & Conditions

The Winner will be determined by the Promoter. The Winner may only be the person who originally entered the competition.

The Judge’s determination of the Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Winner will be notified by email, phone (voice or text) and must be available for participation in all publicity that may be required by the Promoter. Where attempts to contact the Winner fail or whereby the Winner makes no attempt to collect or supply personal details for delivery (within two weeks of prize announcement), the Judge will select another winner. If, after successful notification, the Prize is not claimed within 1 month of being announced it will be regarded as forfeit.

The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. In the event that the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute the original prize for a prize of like or equal value.

Where the Winner is required to claim the Prize in person, he /she must provide proper identification (e.g. driver’s license, passport, birth certificate). If the Winner is under the age of 18 (eighteen) years his/her parent or legal guardian must accompany the Winner or give his/her prior written consent to the award of the Prize.

The Winner takes the Prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies the Promoter in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the Prize.

 

Disclaimer

Apart from the provisions of sections 45(5) and 43(6) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, neither Win-A-Lot nor any of its agents or representatives shall be liable for any damages, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use this website or the services or content provided from and through this website. Furthermore, Win-A-Lot makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, amongst others, the content and technology available from this website are free from errors or omissions or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and error free. Users are encouraged to report any possible malfunctions and errors to us by contacting us through the website contact form.

This website is supplied on an “as is” basis and has not been compiled or supplied to meet the user’s individual requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the user to satisfy itself prior to entering into this agreement with Win-A-Lot that the service available from and through this website will meet the user’s individual requirements and to be compatible with the user’s hardware and or/software.

General Information

Win-A-Lot reserves the right to terminate your ability to use our services if your conduct is found to be inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.

Win-A-Lot shall not be responsible for any breach of these conditions caused by circumstances beyond its control. If Win-A-Lot is informed of any inaccuracies in the material on the online shopping service it will attempt to correct the inaccuracies as soon as it reasonably can.

Jurisdiction

This agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts.
